  • This experiment shows that housing segregation, where individuals cluster with similar people, can result even if all people have a preference for living in integrated neighborhoods.
  • This experiment is often used as an introduction to agent-based modeling and demonstrates that counter-intuitive results can emerge at the societal level due to the complexities of group dynamics.
